About Curly Claud
I have been making jewellery for many years for pleasure and for presents. I made a piece for a friend's birthday which she loved so much, she encouraged me to make pieces to sell. To that end she held a jewellery party at her house and so Curly Claud was born! Since then I have mainly sold through parties, with commissions coming through word of mouth.
I decided to set up a web site as a way of showcasing my designs; these are pieces I have made and sold and are examples of what I make. It is by no means exhaustive and most of the pieces are evolved by talking to clients about what they want, their ideas of colour etc.
I make tiaras for weddings and proms, rosaries for First Holy Communions and can also make jewellery sets to match. The styles displayed are all ideas subject to customers wishes.
Prices do vary depending on the complexity of the piece and the materials used, but they range from between £5 for a simple pair of earings to £80 for the fanciest of tiaras.
I can carry out repairs on customers jewellery and if not repairable, can recycle the parts into new designs!! As I am keen not to waste materials, I make all my pieces with as little wastage as possible and often recycle where appropriate.
Recently I was asked to make children's party bag gifts and can make such to order.
